Synopsis
Having grown up in Africa with cerebral palsy, Briony has put pen to paper and tried to describe the trials, tears, laughs and tribulations that come with being an abled-minded person in a disabled person's body.
Having been born in what was then Rhodesia, later to become Zimbabwe, this candid book aims to let people peek and glimpse into the daily hardships, workings and thoughts that come with being a disabled person whilst giving an account of her life growing up on a peaceful idyllic farm to the huge upheaval that came with having to move half way around the world to the UK to escape the injustices of Zimbabwe and its political upheaval.
